Equipped to Love
This program educates women and men about prenatal development, pre-birth bonding, parenting skills and newborn care. Regular meetings with a client advocate throughout their pregnancy equips you to become better parents. This is a “earn as you learn” program enabling parents to purchase needed baby items and clothing with baby bucks received from program participation. Diapers, wipes, formula, maternity clothes, baby clothes, car seats, cribs and strollers are among the many items available in the Baby boutique. This program is available through the baby’s first year. "Homes of Honor" The 9 week course is based on the parenting series by Dr. Gary Smalley. Parents discover their child's personality while building on their strengths and weaknesses. The classes show positive ways of discipline and how to motivate and communicate successfully with your children. Abstinence Education Teen premarital sex and the spread of STDs have reached epidemic rates. The results include heartbreak, teen pregnancy, abortions, child abuse, low educational achievement, and financial hardships. The goal of this program is to promote sexual abstinence until marriage as a standard for teens and adults, thereby reducing teen pregnancies and the occurrence of STDs. Students are taught about the medical and emotional consequences of premarital sex to enable them to make informed choices regarding their sexual behavior. We strive to equip teens with tools to remain sexually pure until marriage or make a fresh start. Finally, we encourage students to make a written commitment to sexual purity. Beauty for Ashes This support group ministers to women and men who have emotional and spiritual needs resulting from a previous abortion. Helps them receive the freedom God desires for them. a Bible study designed to heal the heartbreak of abortions. a ministry of Life Outreach Center 43% of women have had an abortion in their past. Others have helped someone get an abortion.
